One Arkansas elk tested positive for cwd this past year. They are going to start holding meetings Monday Feb 29 in Jasper, later on in Harrison and Marshall. According to this particular article they are calling for a massive culling in the area. Game and Fish site is a little more obscure in what they plan to do at the present.

it's obviously gotten more wide spread, that's the only reason they owned up to it, been here for at least two years in my area of nw ark.
