The class details are this.
First in order to take this class you MUST have taken a recognized Hunter Education class in a state other than Arizona since 1980 and be able to prove it with a state issued card!
This MUST have been a state class; not the NRA, or some gun club class. This is the FIRST and most important requirement to take this class!
You must send me a copy of that card via email at [email protected] or by FAX 928-681-2838.
After I receive the card, you will be put on the class roster.
The class is done one day, Saturday April 23, 2016 and starts at 7 a.m. (Arizona time) till about 6 p.m. and will be held at the Mohave Sportsman's Club 7 Mile Hill Range, which surprisingly, is located 7 miles west of Kingman on Old Highway 66.
You MUST register on the Game & Fish Department Website. While it shows it on the website is a online field day, it is NOT! It is the Supplemental class. Look for the date, April 23, 2016 in Kingman Arizona!
Once you complete the class, you will receive your graduation card from Kalkomy! You will not be issued one after the class.
You will receive the permanent bonus point on your account prior to the Sheep/deer draw! I promise...
If you have any questions you can call my cell at (928-303-9481) text, email ([email protected])or FAX me at 928-681-2838.
Note I will be on vacation on turkey hunts in Arizona and Oklahoma from April 2nd through the 19th, so I recommend you don't wait till the last minute to register.
There is a strict limit of 40 persons who can take this class due to the room size restrictions.
If you want that permanent bonus point for sheep or the deer draw, this is your opportunity to take this class and have it PRIOR to the 2016 draw.. And yes, with the new rules, having the most amount of bonus points on your account is recommended!

The class no longer gives a permanent point to an applicant for elk?
Yes, the class' point will be applicable for elk (and ALL Ariz. big game species). Don posted this to let those who don't have their non-res hunter safety card that they can still get it before this year's 2016 deer/sheep hunt permit draw. The elk draw deadline has come and gone for this year (this class will still give you a valid card for future elk draws) ...
"....but will apply to the elk and antelope draw."
In the event you are not aware, and as Lv2hnt mentioned, the deadline for elk and antelope in Arizona has already passed for this year. It is very close to the same date as the deadline in New Mexico.
I have been advised that the information on the permanent bonus point is this.
We must have the information turned into the department at least 30 prior to a draw in order to get that point on the sportsmans record.
That being said, they also note that the records are only updated two times a year. That means that persons that took our Supplemental class in January did not see the point on their personal record, but rest assured the point was added to their application.
Same will be true for the upcoming April class.
That point won't show up on your record for the deer/sheep draw, but it is there. (I know trust me, I'm the Government, right?)
And yes, just to clarify the bonus point is for ALL of Arizona's big game species. I say that if person's who are applying for deep and sheep who want or need that permanent bonus point should take the April class.
If you have any questions, give me a call at 928-303-9481 or email me at [email protected]

YOU MUST HAVE TAKEN HUNTER ED IN ANOTHER STATE SINCE 1980.
I have to get a LEGIBLE card too...If I can;t read it, I can't accept it!
Get a duplicate one from your wildlife agency if you need to.
Got slots of room in the class, so register on the Department's website to get in the class.
I also have a number for a motel here that will give you a room for $34 + tax when you come for the class.
