I like mixing up the poses. The one on right is called "sneak" position. I also got one in "full sneak" with a lip curl (not pictured). The spike is my first ever with a bow from Vermont. It's my nicest mount.

what's with the basketballs? You have time shoot hoops between all of the hunting you do?
I mounted my first buck, little forkie and my first deer, a doe. After that, the only one I had mounted was an 11 point from New Brunswick because my boss knew a guy who wanted to start doing taxidermy, and it showed :) My wife doesn't like them upstairs, so my basement is where they end up.

Found the image of the full sneak, which is good as the rack is kind of tall. For some reason I didn't include the open mouth, and I don't have the mount anymore to show. Yeah, BBB, it's the garage for mine. Heads don't fit in with the decor of the house, so hence the ball rack and garbage cans and fuse box nearby.

Dr - you're garage is nicer than some people's rec-room. I have my few mounts in the basement :( At least some people will get to see all of the nice deer you've taken over the years, besides, you get to see them every day when you get home and go to work.

My 11 point in full sneak pose is from Darien. Biggest one was Wilton. Spike was my first bow-buck, Benson, VT.
