First off.....where has everybody gone? No posts, arguments, or debates!!!!!!!!!!

I can't wait to get to a shoot and plan to fix that next week. The Kentucky Traditional Bowhunters Association hosts the KY Tradfest shoot every year at this time and the dates for it are April 8, 9, and 10. It's a real nice shoot, a good number of vendors and bow makers, and a chance to limber up your bow. It is in Harrodsburg, KY just a bit south east of Lexington. Lots of fun. You can shoot competitively or for fun--your choice. Free camping on the grounds and free fire wood (and it looks like the fire wood will be a welcome thing next week). If you shoot traditional you will enjoy this event. Saturday evening guest speaker is Mike Mitten, author of "One With the Wilderness", a book about his many adventurous solo hunts all over the country.

The longbowman is Ronnie Payne shooting his Bear Montana.

Some guys like to not only shoot traditional style but camp that way too. :o)

It sure is a nice shoot.I won't be able to go this year. I had shoulder surgery and the doctor won't let me start shooting my bow for another week or so.
