A BIG thanks to the entire DHP committee for putting on another GREAT event!
I always go home after this event so much more appreciative of the physical abilities that the good Lord blesses me with everyday (and that many times I take for granted.)
And this year I had one more (pretty COOL) thing to be thankful for! :)
I know years ago there was some discussion about the appropriateness of selling raffle tickets for firearms to raise money for an ARCHERY organization. But I am so glad that these raffles continue! It is a win-win for all involved! I'm sure a LOT of money was raised last night for a VERY worthy cause!
BTW, what was on that roasted chicken??? Whatever seasoning it was, was OUT OF THIS WORLD! Think it might have been the best chicken I have ever tasted!
Again, a big THANKS to all involved!
LOL Dale! Sounds like a LOT of us scored on things we were coveting! :)
On a side note, I mentioned that we have three turkey hunts scheduled over the next few weeks. Our Texas hunter killed one long beard yesterday, and another this morning!
I'm just trying to figure out how I got stuck....................I mean HONORED to be at Gene and Bob(McQuaker's) table???!!! ;-)
Rut, LOL on McQuacker.... :)

Amen, Perry! My thoughts, exactly!
I also want to thank BOWJO and everyone on the DHP Committee who puts this event together, each and every year. The hard work and effort you put into making this happen, does not go unnoticed. I'm already looking forward to the 2017 DHP Banquet.
And yes...the food was delicious, especially the chicken!
