first shoot at Oxford today

It was the first shoot for my buddy and I at Oxford today and I'm feeling it in my legs already. Great shoot and a great breakfast, thank god it was only 30 instead of 40 targets, I'm getting to old for 40 targets (83yrs) It was my first shoot with my new Mathewa NOCAMHTX It worked well considering the shooter! More people have to start showing up at these shoots, I go nearly every sunday with my friends or my sons and grandson.

How did you like the new course setup? I know I need more practice at judging distances.

My biggest objection to the course was the distance between the targets and why they had the first stake so far in from the walking trail?

What I was told it was because they are going to have a IBO shoot. And they have to be able to shoot up to 60 yds. This way they don't have to move targets just stakes

The folks there put on a really great shoot. I like the Traditional shoot they have. Great people and a great breakfast. Real nice 3d course, too.
