Why would someone eat gobbler? He is a great guy but I imagine he would be really tough. Oh, you meant a turkey.

I hope to get out this week and try at least one more time to get another. I just think it is hard to beat wild turkey fried in an iron skillet! LOL

Pass Through, since I haven't had the pleasure of eating your recipe I will POLITELY disagree, lol. Lonnie Sneed invited me down to a Traditional Shoot a few years ago and everyone around had some Great food, mostly cooked in cast iron skillets and pots. But before everyone gathered around Lonnie brought out some wild turkey {no, not the kind you drink } before everyone gathered, a Few of us got to sample his turkey recipe, it was truly outta this world, course if you had killed and fixed as many turkeys as Lonnie and his Daddy , you then might be the best ! lol
