I have drawn out for unit 10 early archery hunt. I did my first scouting trip last weekend. I started out in the Kaibab NF by Williams and ending up at Long Point. I realized quickly how large this Unit is. Looking for help where I should scout/hunt. Any information would be helpful including Big Bo Ranch.

Spent last years archery hunt on the Bo. There's plenty of elk visible from the main highways and roads. They didn't get to calling well until the last week. I'd definitely recommend getting the Bo permit on this hunt. It gives you more area to hunt than you could ever cover and lots of different habitat types.

Thanks- I was planning on buying the Big Bo permit. It's unfortunate that you can't scout until Aug 5th. Do you know anything about an area called "The Wilderness" on BO?

Saw some good bulls last year during general antlerless hunt. North face on the hills just north of kaibab lake, jumped 4-5 bulls there. Heard of some big ones above Aubrey cliffs in big Bo, didn't see them myself though.
