Just read an article in our local news paper that NYC is moving forward with efforts to control the overpopulation of deer on Staten Island Staten Island Controller Scott Stringer is allowing the city to fast-track the contraction on a $2 million study.
This is wonderful that there is just stupid money flouting around. Wonder what this money could be used for.

A supervised and controlled hunt would have knocked down the numbers. Plenty of good bow hunters on The Island that would do it for free. Mad Dog
