Unit 23, first scouting trip up in smoke

Took Friday off so I could get some scouting done in unit 23. I knew there was a fire but I don't get many chances off work so I had to try anyway. Made it to willow (a-cross road on my map) and the road was closed. Cherry creek road had only limited access. So, I decided on the long way back to town and drove the Apache trail home. What a beautiful drive ! Road was horrible but the view is amazing. Anyone have better luck scouting this weekend?

OTC Deer... couldn't pull an elk tag. Still about 437 years away from one of those based in this point system (Ponzi scheme).

Won't be any smoke any more. Got just over an inch of rain yesterday and last night. Expect more today. Mr. Monsoon has arrived.
