There is one parcel NA 748 in Adams county that I do not agree should be sold. It is adjacent to other state land which alone means it should be kept. It has highway access which also makes it easy for the public to access. Ag use would likely require irrigation, something we do not need more of.
Another one in Adams county is parcel 064 that is landlocked so I agree could be sold to adjacent landowners. However it has fishable stream so an easement should be kept to protect the stream from bank to bank ag use and provide some public access. The state also suggests that the local tribe might be interested in the purchase. But the tribe is not an adjacent property owner so I believe they should be considered not eligible to purchase this property. Scattered tribal land here in Sawyer county is a PITA as it is in NW Minnesota with the Red Lake band.
