Yeah, I know, but I'm just not in that big a hurry. There is a groundhog out back that is begging for a broadhead though. I caught him biting into the trunk of a newly planted apple tree in the back yard and ran him off. When he returned an hour or so later, I snuck out of the shop with a 45 lb osage slingshot, got just a couple of yards from him and put a rock right into his side. Rolled him over and he layed there for a bit, thought I killed him, but then he walked over into the weeds and down his hole. The next morning he was back. And so we dance...

Jeff... I nailed one broadside one time and he made it to the hole. The next morning he was dead halfway out the hole. They are tough. Has anyone ever eaten groundhog?

I've eaten it. They are a bit tough so par boiling it before frying helps. My favorite is fried in mild pepper juice.
