Seasons almost here. Lets see what we have running around NJ to set our sights on. Nothing huge for me on camera yet but I have been watching two big bucks out in a field with binocs.

no shooters by me... This young buck has incredible genetics, as in part fallow deer, part caribou, part moose, part whitetail. I would love to see another year on him, he is probably 2.5, but has body of a 1.5 year old! Symmetrical 10pt, with the palmations and splits.

This 7pt is the only buck that I have seen that seems to be older, possibly 3.5 or "maybe" 4.5... Much bigger body, ONLY comes and hits minerals middle of the night.

lots of young 8s around this year... A wide young 8 with major potential, just like the 10... My buck to doe ratio after 2 solid months of scouting seems to be about 3 bucks to every doe (excluding fawns which would further skew that number because at least half of them are bucks so ratio would change).
