19 minutes into legal shooting light and I had a nice doe down. This is by far the earliest I've ever taken a deer, heck it was August 4 days ago!

Sponge, this deer was taken in the wheeling hunt. David, you'd be surprised what some people would put online. Last spring I tried turning in a kid who put a picture on Instagram of a buck he shot during turkey season with his shotgun. Made me real mad. I never got any confirmation that anything was done or looked into though

Well I brought a new bow hunter to the ranks. Started with absolutely zero experience before Spring Turkey season. No shot opportunities then, she finally got one in deer season. Perfect shot, quick clean first ever bow kill. I set the ground blind up, and it worked great!

Shot this one tonight. He came in trotting about 15 yards, grunted and stopped him and that was it. Still have not seen a doe in two weeks. Jackson County, Elite 35 with carbon express arrows and killzone broadheads.

Tagged out this morning. This guy followed a doe in about 7:45. The doe busted me lowering my binos from trying to look at the buck. She wasn't sure what I was and just trotted down the hill. He had no idea what was going on and slowly walked on out the path towards me. He was going to cut down towards her though so I shot him at 40 yards. The shot was just a touch back so I gave him better than an hour before climbing down. He had went about 80 yards and died in my access road.

Thanks. I scored the KY deer at 168" and the Logan deer at 135". The Logan deer had the biggest body and was quite old. I think I better buy some lottery tickets!

Finally able to catch up with this guy. Had him on camera in early October but he must have been out of the area until Nov. 16th. He came in this evening at 4:55. I was able to get it on video. Shot him with my Decree HD using a G5 broad head. He ran about 25-yards. This is the best buck I've taken in several years and I'm tickled to death to get him.

Ron anytime buddy I was extremely lucky this year to kill 2 4.5 yr old bucks. I only saw 5 shooters during bow season Had 3 in bow range one pulled a good one on me at 5 yds and never got a shot I was lucky enough to make the other 2 count from the looks of my cameras most of the shooters are still there and a lot of up and comers still around Next year should be good Congrats on your deer and congrats to everyone that killed a deer this year.Very little mast here and a funny rut my deer sightings were way down. But I did get to lay eyes on my #1 buck once.

A butcher friend of mine will hang my older bucks in his walk in cooler for 10 or 12 days before it's cut up. That makes a HUGE difference.
