Pushmataha is a great place to hunt with a lot of big bucks. I go on deer surveys there every year we always see nice bucks on the survey. Jack Waymire the head biologist is first class a great man..

It is part of the management I just feel that they cut a little too much. The open canopy allows massive bluestem growth under the trees and when control burns occur many trees die due to massive flame heights. Just an opinion but still a good number of deer there
