day 1 semi live. hopefully a bunch of hunters will post.
set a stand last night to sit this morning for a fast recon hunt. I only saw 3 deer this morning. got down early and moved stand about 600 yds down the field to a know entry point into the alfalfa field

I'm hunting a new 5c farm so there's little Intel
I'm on the west end looking west into a thick rectangle presumed bedding area
there's a tilled under corn field behind my right shoulder and an alfalfa field behind my left shoulder
God oh mighty. it's ?? hot
just had a g-hog walk by. no shot. thought I was gonna get a slam dunk
that's the alfalfa behind my left shoulder

Im watching 4 doe and 3 buck in beans right now. Wish they would come in range

Waiting to hear the morning results. You guys are doing a great job. Going to hit 85 here today.
Good luck fellas. I'll give it to you, hunting in this heat is just not for me. Haven't been out here in 2B yet, myself. I will be taking a quick walk and clearing my access path to one of my stands of briars and thornbushes this afternoon after work.

It was a good thing we had 2 things this year:
1) Bill V(he's a KILLER ;-)
2) and the portable COOLER! (we just had to throw them all in the cooler when we got back, then the next day took a load over all at once to the processor) Saved a lot of extra driving
