I had a doe and 2 yearnings behind me in the alfalfa. they slowly feed to my left and went through the hedgerow. have not seen them since
alfalfa field this morning
the really thick stuff to my west
plowed under damaged corn field. behind my right shoulder

Quiet at camp so far.no deer. Only one group came back sofar
no shots on day 2 morning hunt
wish we had cell service at camp. it would be easier to post more

maybe too much of a ruckus last night
at least it cooled down a little I saw 19 out of this stand last night and not one so far tonight wind is from the east. just right 2 to 4 mph
it gives me just the right angle

Still can't believe we were hunting in shorts! I think the truck thermometer was reading 85 degrees when we got there in the afternoon to get set up for the evening!
And got to help Michael on the short tracking job on his deer. Went maybe 35y tops(shot thru the bottom of the heart- that kid can shoot! ;-)
In fact, I was on the other side of the field maybe 80y from him and I heard him hit the deer(think when it hit the far shoulder upon exit)
