Tried it a couple times to no avail. It was reccomended by an avid hunter who stood by it. Should have some validity.

So funny you brought this up. I have been using apple cider for many years as a cover scent, spray around the tree before I climb up, I also spray all over boots before I walk in. My bow hunting blood brother added vanilla to his opening day weekend and he had action. (Big doe came in hard) Some people swear by it. Its all over Google searches. I been adding to apple cider since but, haven't had any luck as of yet. I will try one more time tomorrow with a mix of Apple cider, molasses, and vanilla extract. If that don't work, I think I am going to switch back over to Ever calm and doe pee. That seems to work the best for me... Max

Dan Fitzgerald use to sell "Killa Nilla". It's a curiosity lure. The deer like the smell, but it is also out of the ordinary and can alert them. I've tried it with no takers. Maybe in bear country you can pull one in.

My brother uses vanilla car fresheners from Walmart... he has wacked some beautiful deer... they seem to work
Ive been told if you use vanilla extract try to find one with no alcohol... doesn't make sense to me because alcohol is odorless.
