Looks like rain here in 5B. I have rain gear and I am gonna sit this morning, been waiting all year to get back up a tree. Who else is going out? While I most likely sit in side for the evening hunt, hope to read about great opening day success. Good luck and God Bless all PA Bow Hunters.

here in 5s. it's heavy overcast an odd wind. 10 to 15 mostly from the east. very damp and chilly. have not seen any yet. heard Turks to the west of me

Back from the morning hunt. Rain held off and ended up being a great hunt, had two big doe and two fawns at 40 yards but no shot. Then an hour later heard a crack and then 5 minutes later two younger antlered bucks were 30 yards up wind cracking antlers. Awesome day until I went to check my trail camera and find it was stolen. Just the price of hunting at this piece of land. I'll catch that thief someday. Heading up to hunt Hershey this evening.

Chise and I waited until it stopped raining, then we sat in the blind until 10:15. We saw 10 does. closest was about 75 yards.

shot a 10 point at 7:40 this morning in 1A. I had hoped that after a dark rainy night they might be on their feet this morning. I had 3 doe at 5 yards when I saw this guy. It was a good morning!

After getting a phone call Saturday @ 8:30 am from the tournament coordinator, letting me know that all games were cancelled for the day due to rain, I was able to sit back in my stand and hunt for as long as I wanted. But that didn't last long because 15 mins after that phone call, this guy shows up under my stand.
