So i got a phone call last night from the land owner of land that ive hunted for 20 years saying he sold the property,Well i thought i was done.The guy next door has 50 acres but i was always told that he was a mean nasty old man.im a shy person but i said what the heck let me go knock.The guy answerd the door and he said who are you i then explained my situation.We ended up talking for an hour beacuse i had my fire department shirt on.turns out hes a retired firefighter a real nice guy.I asked if i could hunt and he said sure can use what ever you want gun bow and said please kill the coyotes thay attack his live stock.so all that being said never belive what others say

Thats awsome! good for you! I have been told on occasions not to ask this guy or that guy and I did stop and ask. Most of them turned out to be nice people. someone has one bad encounter and that is all it takes. Goodluck on the new property. Hopefully tomorrow is my lucky day.
