good morning all. and RC ( your always up early)
since there's no Sundays in pa. I'll keep you occupied for awhile
6:15, damp cool, full moon to the west. foggy.
once I can see. I'll be over look in 88 acres of field. might see buffalo,speed goats or wildebeest here. it the great grass lands of nj. hedge row hunting.

slow light this morning. wind almost none. slight drift from the west. not bad for this spot

642. just getting light a little. I can see field. it's mostly a big grey blob right now. in the hedge row to my west I have a small drop feeder to try and keep them crossing through this area. we havnt hunting this stand in 2 weeks. we'll see what happens

710. decent buck crossing field in front of me v70 yds moving west to east slowly angleing away I'm now grunting and turning a can over quite a bit. the field is tall junk weeds. I can't see him anymore. I turn to my right and a girlie is coming in. he gets nervous and turns to flee. he's at 25 and starting to leave. I turn the can 2 more times. he steps forward. turns broadside. and walks to my right

now. we hunt a property that is owned by an organization. they want deer removed. its very hard to kill here in these fields. in fact. killing a buck here is easier then killing a doe. our primary targets are mature does but when we get a chance any buck will do
the girlie wheeled and bolted into the tell field. curling out in front of me. he disappeared so I presume dead. it ain't easy finding deer in these fields bwell see how it goes

shot window. I honestly don't know how I pull these shots off. I'm in a hedge row in a pin oak that might be 8" in dia at the base. I can't blink without the tree moving and shaking

730. I did see some does in field. one was a deer I've been watching for 3years now. I call her Whitesides
she has half moon shape white on her sides coming up from her belly. that's the first we've seen her this year

Cooking fresh sausage and pancakes now. Fresh maple syrup and home made butter. Strawberries on top of pancakes and hot coffee and orange juice.
