Trapper, the first two are 30 yards from the wolf. The third pick I walk in about a mile and then row boat across a bayou to stand that's 20 yards from water. Two favorite stands depending on wind direction

One I just started hunting. No luck yet, but had one snorting and wheezing at me from the thick stuff last time I sat there.

Spot X during gun season
Spot X during gun season
About 70 yards south of first photo taken around Halloween.

A ground view of a new set up this year. This spot is right were a small ridge flattens at top. Clear cut to the north and big ravines and river to the south. This small ridge runs pretty much east-west. Should be a great travel corridor next year for rut. Scrapes were being opened up on the trail after snow during gun season so left a camera out to see what is happening until camera freezes up.

I do not have the luxury of a favorite spot, hunt the north, move a lot, deer are always trying to stay one step ahead, or behind them wolves

I have too many favorites to choose just one! Every spot I hunt has a different allure to it.
