Last year at the swap there was no chasing and the Rut was one day and done....kinda like a teenager on a twenty dollar...ehhh you know. .lol 1ST WK of nov..fast n hard..

I've seen the little two year olds chasing early but the big slobs don't start till 2nd week in November.

All depends where/when you're hunting. On state land I think it will be spotty at best, so you need to hunt several days in a row to get into the action when it happens. I'm taking off the first week in Nov, typically the best time for the rut.
