Can you hunt powerlines that are otherwise private? IE, they cross a road where you could park but run through private land?

Fireblade was correct, the poles and wires belong the power company even when crossing private land (they own the right of way rights) and you're not allowed to do anything with them, including putting up your tag sale signs. They've tried to get people NOT to nail them to the poles by placing articles in the local papers without success.

Put a ladder stand with a strap how many times have you had people work on the poles I had them 2 time in 20 years they dug down neat the base of the poles and tarred the bottom one time they cleared brush and I shot 2 deer the day they were there .
