I find it extraordinary that 3 of the top 8 towns were reported on this site to have single digit densities: Newtown, Greenwich, Redding. Right. DEEP must be lying to hunters about deer abundance in FF County. Nothing to see here. Move along.

I think the liberal press rigged the numbers for those towns ;)

Doc - to be fair, even you stated the deer would be able to rebound quickly, especially with the mild winter and abundant acorn crop, so I don't think it's a total surprise. Or, are you saying that WB took a lot of taxpayer's money and didn't accomplish a thing? You can use the figures either way,......right?

Hunting technically isn't allowed there by their dumb laws. I will publicly go on here and say if I had a spot there I'd have no problem hunting it.

I used to hunt westport...alot. town bylaw environmental police will not prosecute , and won't stand up in court. That being said not alot of places too hunt there
