I hunt 2A, my son shot a nice 9pt. This morning. It was chasing a doe and grunting like crazy, neck swelled up and tarsal glands all musky. I'd say it's starting now.

If I was a betting man, the third week of November as well as the following week will be the best. And yes, in the SRA's you can hunt till the 26th of Nov.

I'm off the first week of November also. All you can do is hunt and hope one comes by while your there. I think they are moving and if it stays cool they will keep moving. good luck. I will be out tonight. Was out last night and night before with no luck.

Anytime after Halloween is awesome, but I like the 2nd and 3rd week of November. I'll be off the 4th - 19th.

my experience in 5D 10-28 through 11-15 daytime buck activity picks up, however it's going to warm up again this year next week. Always forcing the big bucks to go nocturnal (like they need an excuse) trail cameras tell the story.

I will be in Ohio 10-30 thru 11-6. Then back home hunting hard in 5D 11-7 thru 11-15. Pray for cooler weather. Good luck shoot straight, be safe.
