I have hunted it some. Deer populations very sparse on national forest in southern Leflore county. There are some big old bucks but they are few and far between in my experience. I don't know anything about the northern part of the county. Bear populations doing very well in southern Leflore co. Much to the detriment of the deer numbers in my opinion.

There are good deer there. I shot this one this year on the Ouachita National Forest. My first buck with a bow.
