I've always been my dream to own my own little piece of land. Been doing some looking and am interested in a couple of properties I've located in Bedford County but have never hunted there. Just wondering what anyone has to say that has experience out there. Thanks.
You will love Bedford County.
If I were to move, it would be to Bedford County.
I live right next door in Somerset County. We are higher, windier, colder, and our winters are much worse. Moderate weather means more comfortable hunting. As I get older I appreciate that. :)
The hunting ain't bad either.
I was born in Johnstown and spent much of my life in Bedford County. It's beautiful there. Lots of public land to hunt. Some has more deer than others. Good turkey hunting too.
If I was single That would probably be my home.
Phil
So...........you're saying Bedford girls have lower standards?
You're a handsome dude but I don't think you would have a shot. Sorry, but someone had to tell you.
Red, ya took the words right out of my mouth:)
That was a 10...
Happy Thanksgiving to you too Red and Roy.
Guess I couldn't have teed it up any higher. I was thinking more about the guys in Bedford. At least they still have most of their teeth, unlike Somerset and Westmoreland.
My wife wants no part of moving back to western PA.
My wife wants no part of moving back to western PA.
Yup, Red and I have been sending her money to stay out east, for obvious reasons:)

Yeah Phil, real mountain men don't drive hybrids either! Our trucks blow smoke not little pink bubbles.
Stay out east where women are women, and men are.......ah.......well, you know.
Happy Thanksgiving! You guys just made a good day even better!

Red - the hybrid was a long time ago. Driving a Ram Promaster van now.
