Has anyone hunted Naugatuck State Forest? Want to go out with the muzzleloader one last try for my deer and it's the closest to my home.

Lots and lots of walkers off Chestnut Hill side in Oxford. Head deeper than what you think is deep enough.

Mt Sanford block has been pretty busy with hunters. You need to find a back boor in where everyone else hasn't been yet

I grew up hunting Naugy state shot and saw some nice bucks there. Youd have to travel deep in. Good luck!!

I live close to the mt. Sanford block, I pass it a lot , usually couple people out there at a time, you can give other entrance on downs rd a try, it's a good hike tho

Thank you all Tried one spot last week and was loaded with hikers. Reminded me of Trout Brook in Weston. Need to find some private land!
