A lot of the Clinton county guys , buy or lease property outside of Clinton co. Not sure if it is Deer quality, numbers, or no access to Land there. Land is higher per say in Clinton co. usually due to agriculture use. Guys probably cant compete in the land buying game, and move on elsewhere. Beware, I know of a couple of larger farmers in that area, who lease out their ground and some is less than desirable hunting at premium price. (On base camp leasing) Do your homework first. If it was me, I would go a little farther north, or a little farther south, for what its worth, I live real close to Clinton co.
