Just wanted to see if we could post all our favorite pics from last season. This one is my top pick....my friend, who I helped get into bowhunting three seasons ago, got his first deer this past year. I was with him and he was thrilled. Nothing better than feeling that heaviness on your shoulders dragging out your first one on a beautiful fall morning!

My least favorite Had this this buck and another small one come in to a can call, they started fighting and a big 8 point come running in. And then I missed him with every arrow! Had to watch them all walk away. Realized it after that my drop away rest was stuck down!

Not the best pic but my coolest . I was stocking pheasant at my club just put out a big cock bird and this hawk flys down and killed it 30 sec after I put it out .

Deerdan I feel your pain. I was trying to grunt in a huge nine that was following a doe, he continued on when an eight came in to me, only to miss. While trying to grunt him back, I watched him, watch a tall six that came in only to miss him also. I should've had 14 points that morning. All clean misses. My sight got bumped being stored in the back seat of my truck. Needless to say in getting a hard case with my Xmas gift money.

Sure was fun to have Christmas at my Mother-in-Law's place... at least for shooting purposes! Big Brother was grouping onto the center blue stripe from 30 and even hit the ball a time or two...

Only for Big Brother - that's a #42@28" that he just got, so he's getting close to #30 out of it (he's 4'6", so drawing around 23"). Little Elf is shooting #15 @ 22", so his arrows don't blow through the backstop.
Working on sets of flu-flu/blunts for each of them to use in the back yard over here where things are kinda tight.

Nothing going on during the day might as well try at night..walking back in from a midnight tide,my bud and myself are joking about famous tv fishing stars when we heard the familiar slurp of a big fish..out of eels and no lures he's s.o.l,i tie on a Bob Hans pencil popper and cast towards a set of boulders..1st cast nothing,2ndcast nothing,3rd cast I slow the retrieve more.pop,pop pop,pop pop pop,..50ft away and right up my lures ass it looked like a submarine chasing my lure,the biggest swirl,biggest flash I've ever seen...FISH ON!!!!..the reel screamed,i lowered the rod,then froze!!! My mind went blank..i remember my buddy hitting me with his hat and screaming "set the hook"..then nothing,the line went slack..she spit the plug..i know I'll never live this one down

We're fine bud,the planet's out of kilter..something to do with the quasi quantum mechanics of an spherical round orb .i don't understand it but as long as the boogie man don't catch me and shrek is on my side life if good..i think
