Anyone have a problem trying to report a January kill? I tried online and there is no selection for 2017 archery. Called it in the woman gave me what looks like a 2016 confirmation number.

Did you scroll down from deep main page and select 2017? 2016 is at the top of the page

January 2017 is considered part of the 2016 season. Confirmation number will be - 161XXXX.

Well a little update. Today the reporting system has a selection for 2017 January deer archery.

That's what I thought. I thought it was part of 2017....you have to buy new licenses and tags for this year. Two for January in zone 11& 12 and four more for the fall of 2017.
Good luck. I give you credit sitting out there in January hoping for a nice buck. They don't move much now.

In my opinion the big bucks move better late season under the right conditions. I have several new ones showing up.

Absolutely big guys always moved better late season especially like you said under right conditions. Colder the better and a good base of snow Really gets them searching for food! Good luck with those fellas Silverado!

Tags start with 1700000 on January 1st 1700037 was last reported tag so far since they fixed the reporting for 2017.
