I've switched from a wrist release to a STAN thumb release, an refuse to ever strap a release to my wrist ever again. but my groupings are all over the general area I'm shooting. With the wrist strap I always went for the shortest loop possible. but I think the length of the loop an the rotation of my wrist could be affecting my shoot, from one shoot to the next. I've really tried to repeat the location of my hand an release as best as possible, but i'm not saying it's not me. are their any suggestions on d-loop length or could it just be form. i'm shooting at 20yds. an I should be destroying arrows, thanks

I would suggest you start with your anchor point/spot consistency. Then make sure of your focus. . Make sure you aren't peeking / looking for the result of each shot.
Just relax shoot multiple groups (even days) before looking to or shooting for "tack head" results.
Foremost you should familiarize yourself with this new and completely different type of release. If a need for a change of loop size is warranted, you will know.
Good luck

The release will shoot totally different. Make sure ur form is good and you will have to make sight adjustments. I like my string loop just long enough were my nock and release head are fairly close.
