Frost Seeding Food Plots

Hey All, Does anyone frost-seed their food plots? I have a long hillside I can't get equipment to and would like to try and plant something. If you have had success with frost seeding, what did you plant and how well did the deer eat it? I used the Evolved Harvest Throw & Grow last fall and it came in really well, but I don't think the deer hit it very hard....Thanks! Nick
