A good portion of the "Strictly Sticks" Crew---Scott & Lynda, Austin, Mallorie, Bernie, Butch, Jon O. and I met up with Ron Raymond to shoot the course this morning. Then, after a really good lunch, we decided to shoot the entire course again.
We all got our miles in for the day, but they were fun and well-earned miles up and down some really nice West Virginia hillsides and scenery. Target shots and placements were all very realistic, and well-thought out. Plus, the quality of targets made the shots much more enjoyable, even if some of us did not hit all of them all of the time!
Friendly folks make going to an event something to look forward to. The Seneca Archers group is doing a fine job making all attending Archers feel welcome, and "at home". Also, having Mace Family Traditions as a vendor was helpful and great to see, as some of our gang needed Archery supplies, which Mark and his family were able to supply.
It's simply a good combination of people and Archery!
The shoot continues tomorrow, so, if you are considering going, and if you accept the recommendations of the "Strictly Sticks" Crew, GO TO THIS SHOOT! Take along a friend or two, and help this organization with its continued fund raising event, by way of the Bow and Arrow!
THANKS, SENECA ARCHERS!!
