anybody on the eastern side of the state seeing many horns on the ground yet? as of last weekend, about 90% were still packing.........

Found a matched set on January 12th that were pretty big. Found one yesterday that I suspect is offspring of the first set. I'm not even intentionally looking just finding them while working on my place.

Curious about this too. Want to take my pup out to see if our backyard shed hunts yield any good results in the field. Just want to pick a good time. Figured most would have dropped by now.

I found a couple very small ones over the weekend. I have pictures in the last 10 days of a couple of bucks with one side gone. Most still seem to have both sides.

Found 2 dead deer and no sheds. Trail cams show most haven't shed. NC KS

A lot are still packing.
I'm up to 4 dead bucks, found two today... last one had shed. I'm betting it was one of the bucks I had pics of in January that had shed... he disappeared during doe season. Found him 50 yds from the road.

I found a matched set lying two feet apart yesterday afternoon. They were from a nice 9 point. I hope he adds 20 inches and hangs around this year.

Walked just under 5 miles on Sunday of creek bottoms. My son found this one in the first 10 minutes and it was the only shed we found all day. Still a beautiful day to be in the woods!

Checked camera's the other day most still carrying one small buck had half a rack, or was broke off. It was a relief to see a few bucks survive the orange pumpkin army.

Walked about 3 miles of timber today, found none. Did find one heck of a rubline and fairly recent scrape that I had not seen before today.

was out last week and I I must of not had enough PEMITHREN on cause I ended up with a wood tick attached to my neck. No antlers found that day but a couple of weeks ago I found a fresh shed. Ticks! I hate cause I swell up at the bite site. I got some with out 1 or 2 antlers and I have some carrying both sides.

I found a couple drops Sunday afternoon. One is very small drop with four points. The other is a nice drop with five points. I pulled a camera card also. I have one picture with a buck still carrying both sides and a couple of a buck that has shed.

I had a very blurry series of pics of this buck in 2013..in velvet..i actually had mistaken him for a different buck..the different buck was killed in 2013 by a bow hunter..while shed hunting a few weeks ago, i found the 3 1/2yo carcass.. No rubbing, its very hollow, light weight feeling..pretty sure he had to die while in velvet..ehd doesnt quite make sense because i hadnt seen a mass killing, hes the only deadhead ive found on the property..16scorable pts..

Walked a few miles on Sunday of a creek channel with wheat fields on both sides. We found all these in the creek bottom and none out on the wheat.

It's been pretty slow for us in SE corner. Still getting multiple pics of bucks with both sides. I did pick up a tick though, the last time out, so there's that.
