So I've driven by Newbury archery for years and finally stopped in today to have my bow tuned. I was really surprised by the shop and the owners knowledge. Had some good suggestions on how to improve my setup so eager to see how it turns out. Thanks for recommending the shop.

Barry is the best. Sometimes you've got to wait but it's worth it.

It's about 1 1/2 hour drive for me but well worth it. Barry set up my Halon 32 and his knowledge and friendliness was top notch. Only place I'll ever visit for archery anymore.

I hunt all around that area. His shop is only a 2 miles (as the crow flies) from my place.

I have been going to Barry for years. I drive more than an hour to have him work on my bow. Well worth the drive, and he is a great guy too.

I was impressed that he didn't try to SELL me anything. In fact, he said the string looked fine but I told him to replace it, a new peep, crank up the draw weight to max and tune it in. My bow is also pretty old (like me) but I love the way it fits me, and he never said "You may want to think about replacing this bow, it's pretty old."
Now, it just better shoot a big ol' buck this year or I'm returning it. :)
