Been shooting the Halon 6 for a year...
You should probably wear your helmet if you shoot one ;^)

I've been shooting the Halon 6 for about 9 months. Love it! I took my biggest buck to date with it last fall and nailed it right where I was looking...double lung at 20 yds. I was fortunate to watch it go down less than 50 yds from where I shot it. I couldn't be happier with the speed, consistency and shootability of this bow.

I've had mine a yr and like RC said it's a bit heavy and long. Not the fastest either but very smooth and quiet. I got a great deal so I'm happy with it.

I have the new halon 32 in Sitka Subalpine, 6" brace height. Heavy, but the nicest shooting bow I've had in awhile.

I've been happy with my Elite. Not the fastest by any means, but amazing back wall and so dang smooth.

It shoots great, went into local bowshop and was going to purchase halon 32 without even shooting it (based off reviews and love for Mathews).....walked out with a Hoyt carbon defiant. It shot super smooth, was very balanced and felt extremely light compared to halon. All about what feels right to you once you shoot it.

You got that right Mindbender. A1 is great, imo one of the best archery shops in the state.
