I'm attempting to plan a trip to CO to for me, and 2 friends who are currently deployed overseas. I'm debating on GMU's 82 vs. 65. This will be for first season rifle. One of the guys is not a bow hunter, so we have decided on this route... Also, they don't return until October 1st. Please excuse the rifle question, it's the first I've posed in 19 years on this site. PM's are most welcome. The goal is elk meat of any sort. Any thoughts on these units ?
