Last fall was the first time I planted turnips. The deer walked through them on their way to the picked corn stalks. Now, this spring, I have turnips growing and flowering. What do I do with these now. I think ultimately I'm going to disk them up and plant ladino clover and soybeans unless I get some positive feed back. Any suggestions?

Had you ever planted them before? In my experience they tend to ignore them the 1st year - I surmise due to them being a "new" food source - after the first year they have hammered them.

I'll try them again, but hat do I do with the ones growing now - leave them or disk them up and plant them again in August?
