Nice bird and pic Brotsky! Was down in Illinois trimming some trees and helping a buddy-turkeys all over.Sick I was too dumb and cheap to buy a license when told to earlier.:-( Their season opens today and they are gonna have fun.

My oldest son was able to kill his mentor bird last Saturday. He said he wanted to shoot one in the head and he almost took its head off!

Final bird of 2017. Always satisfying to fill a shotgun tag with your bow!

Been a tough go but lots of fun this year on Turkey. They have always had my number and keep humbling me but I managed to shoot straight on this gorgeous Black Hills tom on Easter.

Hopefully this works, first time posting a video or link. Had a run in with this guy, but he wouldn't cross the woven wire fence to come in to the decoys. He just walked back and forth at forty yards for about a half hour.

Great pics! TK,wrong type of fence.:-) Had it happen.Barbed wire maybe but not mesh.Looks like wind n thick brush/tree line behind him didn't help either.Looks a bit spooky. 2 days ago on the Res I had 2 Toms hang up and refuse to cross a 10 ft wide creek. At one point at 30 and maybe should have shot but 10 or so is better.Good hunting!

Pretty quiet here this past couple weeks!! Ended up smoking one friday morning right away. I ended up setting the blind up under the birds roost in the dark the night before. Not realizing what I had did, the birds pretty much landed right on top on my decoys and got a big ol gobbler within the first 10 minutes of the hunt.
Bird ended up being around the 25 lb mark, 10 3/8 inch beard, and a 1 1/4 inch spurs.
Heres the video as well

I had a good season.Filled my tags here n Kansas. Was gonna post a pic or 2 cause tried my first 'Bullhead' hunts after a friend suggested them again. His argument for them went beyond the usual 'you kill or miss' one by arguing the target size favors head shots.Claims body killzone is about 3 by 3.5 inches whereas the head neck is about 9 by 2.5.Regardless man did they work for me!I'm sold. Warning 1 pic is graphic.

Awesome leftee! I've had those heads but never an opportunity to use them. Looks devastating!

Impressed me.A bit of a hassle cause need a longer arrow to make sure the head clears your rest, sight etc but I think worth it.Flew decent out to 20 with my bow but really flew great out of my backup bow.No tuning or resighting etc. Bunch of U Tubes on set up etc but I just took an old throw rug, hung it over my target bar and shot at that. When I doubled it the arrows would just hit and drop without damage.A single layer of rug though would not stop them.Scary hole.:-)
