For those of you who use your iPhone for your GPS while hunting, I'm wondering if you have any tips or suggestions. There is no service in most of the remote areas that I hunt, so the App would have to be able to work offline. I'm also wondering how fast the battery drains with the GPS on. Thanks.

I always use my compass and a paper map when I don't get tower reception. I'm old school that way.

It will eat your battery up a bit so be sure to save your battery for the walk out.

Musky- go to the i store and do a search. I don't have an iPhone but an android. The apps available are pretty good and won't need data to be used but will need it to download.

Not sure about data but get yourself an Anker battery it'll charge your phone 3 or 4 times before it needs recharging. About the same size as your iPhone
