That brings me back to when I hunted there and archery opened Oct. 1. And you got one tag for archery. When you checked your deer in they gave you a second tag if you wanted it. Really made you think about what deer you wanted to kill.....and made it really special when you got one!

So the decline in the deer herd in RI couldn't have happened due to just hunting, at least based upon what a certain person tells us.
