I believe it's a pig tooth (molar). Not horse, not cow. I've whitened a few skulls over the years, and my money is on pig.

I bet MF. the tooth crown wear (or lack there of) is indicative of a domestic that was raised for slaughter. The old boars killed on ranches in Texas have their molars worn pretty flat, even after a few years.

Those guys ^ are all full of it - each and every one. It is intuitively obvious to even the most casual observer that what you found is a Mastodon tooth, and a baby one at that. You will need bigger arrows !!
