Hi all, I am considering doing an early season archery whitetail DIY hunt in North Dakota this September. I have never hunted September and never hunted west of Michigan. I believe it would be a bed to feed pattern around a green food source. Just looking for some insight on hunting in ND. The internet scouting I have been doing has been in southeastern ND. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

SE ND is primarily all farmland. Privately owned farmland. There are a few public hunting areas, like the Sandhills, that hold deer. I would focus on that as land access in this area can be tough.

You will find a lot more public land west of the Missouri. Excellent whitetail country in the river bottoms.
