go to a pro shop or shops in your area and see what fits you, and your budget. That is the best way. I have many friends and relation in archery and most all use different bows and set up.find what fits your style and enjoy the experience . pappy

My advise is ,

Do not get hung up on what everyone else shoots !

Find a bow that is comfortable in your hand, aesthetic to your eye and feels like it is a part of you when you shoot.

There are many fine bows being produced today , so the advise of go to a pro shop for fitting recommendations is solid advise.

Personally I would not recommend a "Box Store Archery Shop" Look for an independently owned shop.

This said, I shoot a Mathews Switchback XT,
