Hail in Buffalo & Trempealeau Counties

Southern Buffalo & Trempealeau counties got pounded by hail tonight. Some baseball size. Anybody with a cabin or campers might want to check them for damage.

We got some hail in Sawyer county too but nothing like that. I couldn't get home quick enough to get the truck inside because it was raining so hard that hydroplaning kept me below 40. 5 minutes after the vehicles were in the shed it quit. Lots of lighting and wind too.

I heard something on the radio (Hayward) about either a portion of the national forest or a state forest being closed. I had some equipment running and could not hear it too good.
