The Traditional Bow Hunter's Campout & Shoot will be from July 13 to 16 near Kennerdell, Venango County. There will be around 100 targets, vendor's tables, including a UBP membership table (right next to Chise Bows). Fun for the entire family. Primitive camping with lots of room for all kinds of campers. Food will be available. This is the week before the UBP Wetsern PA Campout. A new shower was just installed. Lots of shade. Dogs are welcome. Please use a leash.

Red, are you bringing Mr. PERFECT? If so, who's going to watch him? Will he be on a leash?
From: Red Beastmaster
08-Jul-17
Yes, Mr P will be there too. Both of us can't get there until Fri noon. We're hoping the rowdy section will be filled up by then.
No need for a leash. The invisible fence has been working pretty well lately. Don't want to wander too far from the tent since getting back at night will be on all fours.

Picked one up at the Esso station. Sinclair should have them too. Remember when they were free? Bought my Wing at Co Emery's Taxidermy shop for $39.

Red.....well, not yet. I know, it's gonna be "my bad". I will read the directions today. This whole trip has crept up so quickly; all the other things I need to get done have been taking precedence. I'll probably just pay folks cash, or with musical renditions, to help me set up.....!!!!!!!!! (I can hear all yinz experienced campers going "Oh geeze"....!!!!)
RC: Peggy Sue will be there. I doubt "The Band" wants to see me ever again.

We don't need no stinking directions! I got a new tent this year and set it up in the yard in 5 minutes, then I looked over the directions just to make sure they printed them right.
You could always sleep under Roy's camper.

Duly noted, Uncle Red. As for underneath Roy's camper......ah.....
No.

The best part of camping is watching someone try to set up a new tent. We usually break out the popcorn or peanuts and heckle them while they scratch their heads trying to figure it out! ;-)

I felt like cheering when the loud generator was finally turned off Friday night at 10:00. Things got a whole lot better after that. Good time, good shoot.
