Sandy island info needed

Anyone have any info on the sandy island hunts since waccamaw took over? I saw they cut off the main center portion of the island from hunting and allow gun hunts and such. What's left seems to be the marsh surrounding the island! Pretty bummed as we loved hunting out there bow only. Any info would be great! Thanks Joe
