Blue Mushroom

A lot of you guys are mushroom hunters, I am not. What is the story behind these blue mushrooms. Name? Edible, poisonous, psychedelic? Common or rare? Have seen quite a few of them this year, but don't remember seeing them before.
Looks like Lacterius indigo, a.k.a. blue milk cap. Bleeds blue 'milk'. Edible. But don't take my word for it, that's putting your life in my hands... and you don't know me from Adam :^) Do your own due diligence. Lots of pictures and i.d. info online about them.
I found one a couple of weeks ago and did not eat it.
I'm not going to eat it either way. I don't even eat mushrooms bought in a supermarket. My wife took the pic and was intrigued by it.
Hey that's cool. Not everyone likes eating mushrooms. But it's nice to be able to identify things of interest.
I hit the jackpot this morning. I went to the game lands and found chanterelles in several different spots. The best area had hundreds, likely over a thousand within sight, but they were a little to old to eat so I left them. Next year I'll surely get there on time.
Here's a green one I found today. Gotta look it up yet.
Looks like my green/blue one is a Russula subgraminicolor, or a.k.a. Green Russula. Also edible.
BOWSITE? BOWSITE? BOWSITE?
It's completely legal to stump shoot on the state game lands while hunting mushrooms. From now on I'll make sure my bow is in the picture too, just for you Roy.
who luvs ya bro? :^)
Put some miles on today in Moraine S.P. and found over a thousand chanterelles about an hour ago. Now I'm celebrating!
I've got em figured out now... maybe.
Sounds like it is too easy Jeff................................"Like shootin' fish in a barrel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" ;-)
Yeah, almost as easy as shooting a buck in rut ;^)
